in discussing this with someone who posits the _opinion_ “the good doesn’t outwigh the bad” as a _fact_. For me, in my life, I have the oppposing _opinion_. ---

In the past couple of weeks I’ve been dealing with severe allergies, and I got hit by a car that ran a red light (I was crossing with a “walk” sign) and am now suffering from serious back pain. It hurts to move. ☹ I’m not trying to say that there aren’t people in the world who have suffered much, much, much more than I have. There are. That’s exactly my point! But you know who does not have to suffer? The lucky majority who are never created in the first place. ---

“The Lucky Majority” is, besides a kick-ass name for a band, non-existent. There’s no majority over anything because zero is a pretty serious minority. And being that there are none of them, I don’t see how you can attribute luck to them … which is to say none of them. ---
