Is "Hollywood" more driven by liberal secularism or money? (Regarding Hannity's new film)

My local newspaper’s movie critic is a Christian, and she usually pans the “Christian” movies for the reasons other people have said - bad acting and writing, unlikable and unrealistic characters and events, etc. However, there was a movie that came out a year or so ago called “War Room” that she, and a lot of other critics, loved, and it did fairly well at the box office. I haven’t seen it, but it was about a black family experiencing significant conflict, and they used faith-based methods to deal with it.

A local Jewish organization regularly shows Jewish-oriented movies at a local museum’s theater; most are of Eastern European or Israeli origin, and while I rarely go to that theater because I find it claustrophobic, I get them through Netflix and they’re almost always quite good. There was, however, one called “Dough” that was just plain stupid.
