To determined whether he has “failed”, we need to know what the objective or metric he’s “failed” to sufficiently achieve is. Lord knows **HD** is a morally bankrupt hypocrite who has made the board vastly worse by his presence, but I don’t understand the OP’s question. ---

I had to look up the reference, so learn something new every day! I know the movie but didn’t know the character’s name.
