# is it coincidence or something else? kind of bizarre

I’ve read that this is usually due to the fact that you _did_ hear it some where first.  
Say you are driving, a car pulls up next to you at a light (radio on) but your distracted by your kids (whatever) then you pull into 7/11 - Wow! same song is playing that’s now in your head.  
Or you walk past a house that has the radio on…I think you get the idea.  
I think the stranger thing is, that if it is a real phenom, it should happen a lot! Not rarely.
