If McCain’s infirmity were severe enough to interfere with his performance as president, the fact that he received his injuries while acting in a way that many would call heroic doesn’t change their severity or relevance. ---

Since they make him look bad on TV (the greatest crime in our culture :rolleyes: ) they may interfere with his ability to be elected president. Whatever else, I’ve got to give McCain his due - he went through a hell that would have killed me a dozen times over in the first week.
