Thank God. In a way this election was even more important than the 2020 election. Then it was about stopping trump. This time it was about stopping trumpism.
Well said. This is being debated now – but I agree quite a few people felt it was time to push back on election denialism and perhaps other truly stupid, dangerous aspects of Trumpism. But the populist nationalism and “fear of facts” (including a racist streak) hasn’t diminished, I’d wager.
I’ll reserve my relief until we see what the (likely) Republican House does. Will they simply engage in normal-level GOP obstructionism, or will they start impeachment proceedings based on Hunter’s laptop?
That laptop is going to be the most impeached computer ever!
