Is it kosher to wash my cat's bed towels in a laundromat washing machine?

My rags soak for a couple of days in a 5-gallon bucket with soapy water in it. That does a surprising job of getting the s*** to shoe level before I aim them at my laundry machines.

Once or twice, I’ve had to change the water (ie, do a second pre-soak) before laundering them, but if you’re like me … you have more than enough rags that keeping a couple out of action costs you nothing.

NOT MY JOB

Aw, poor possom. I’m assuming he was dead before the striping.

We always washed dog blankies in our home washer. But we had smooth coated dachshunds. Small dogs with shed hairs about like a long eyelash. No problem with washer or dryer. Dogs are stinky, so they were done at least weekly.

That ‘possum ain’t dead. He’s just waiting for the photographer to go away.
