Sparky, the origin of that one is contested. There have been many versions of that idiom and attributed to the Bible, Socrates, Twain, Lincoln, etc. Ivory, they demonstrate intelligent thought. Moving between rows means I form an initial opinion, put someone in a row based on it, and he or she can change rows based on what they say. ---

Truman, that’s exactly where I like to be - marginalized and mislabeled. I tend to rub those who don’t appreciate intelligence the wrong way but I’m sure you’ll come around eventually. 🙂 Ivory, of course based on my opinion. My rows, my criteria. Intelligence, personality, ability, etc. ---

Bubba, you’ve stumbled upon one of my other pet peeves. 🙂 Red, I don’t “Tweeter” because it doesn’t leave enough space for my liking, so I’d say that’s a no. Cat, I’ve seen several municipalities ban shark fin soup from restaurant menus, so there is progress being made in that regard. ---
