Here in Ohio (Cleveland area), we call it “pop,” pronounced “pahp.” However, on most menus, POP machines, etc., it’s referred to as “soda.” What I find even MORE strange is that on the LOCAL news, talk shows, and commercials, it’s usually referred to as “soda.” Weird.

Clearly then, Clevelanders are developmentally handicapped – um, except for the geniuses on the local news and such. Gosh, and to think that I’ve been rolling my eyes at Cleveland jokes all this time! What WAS I thinking?
