Coin-op arcade game Dragon Quest\* (I think that was the name of it … the animated video game where you had to hit the joystick and buttons just right to key the right animation) had a definite ending. That’s the first I remember along those lines. \*someone throw me a bone … is that the name of it; anybody hip to my jive? ---
