Yeah, but there’s even more to unwrap. Because somehow it’s her responsibility to protect his marriage. It’s her fault if he cheats. It’s even her fault if he makes unexpected and unwanted sexual advances. Because??? Because men aren’t supposed to be able to control themselves, so women should be clustered to protect men from themselves, i guess. It’s an incredibly depressing and gross view of human relationships. ---
