I’m not talking about just having an orgasm in your sleep, I mean, is it possible for a person to actually be masturbating while they are sleeping?
On a similar note, would it be possible for two people to have sex with each other while they were alseep?

Not sure about sex - I think I would wake up but I have definitely masturbated in my sleep.

Sometimes I’ll have a dream that I’m masturbating then I’ll wake up in the middle of it. Thats what got me thinking.
Then again I’ve also had a dream I was fondling some gorgeous woman only to wake up and discover that I was groping my desk chair, so who knows…:rolleyes:

In my case, yes. When I was younger this happened more than once with one particular partner. At least I initiated sex while asleep. I always woke up (probably fairly quickly after getting started) during the act. I’m not sure at what point my partner woke up – before me I’m guessing.

Checkout [http://sleepsex.org](http://sleepsex.org) for more info on masturbation during sleep. Some people will also have sex while sleeping and have no recollection of it the next day. The forums on that site have many personal stories of people with this condition.

While I have not yet been privy to the experience of waking myself up by a little lovely self-stimulation, my husband does have a number of sleep disorders that can apply ( Of course, if he knew I was posting this, I’d probably be sleeping on the couch …).
He sleep walks, talks in his sleep, and yes, masturbates in his sleep. There have been a number of times upon which I’ve woken up being “mounted” and he’d have no recollection of it the following day. Makes for great opportunity to tease the living hell out of him, but I’m just evil 🙂

I don’t masturbate in my sleep, but I _do_ do something similar: I raise one arm up and very lightly and slowly tickle it with the other hand. I have no idea why I do it, but I know it occurs just about every night, as I usually awake in the middle of it. Weird…

**Crafter\_Man** - I do the same thing, although usually once I’ve woken up. I don’t know anyone else who does it! I have managed to get my SO to incorporate slight tickling/scratching of the arms into a backscratch, because it feels good! 🙂
