I switched to hot tea long ago due to the “always-empty” coffee pot. Now I just walk in, take my hot water, and leave. **Johnny L.A.** , I have a simple solution for you: label your custom coffee pot “Decaffeinated.” 😃 ---

Ours is “Hard-Plumbed” here too. And it too is always empty, takes no time at all to fill the basket and hit the button. We have a drawer full of Folgers packets ready to go. I printed, laminated and hung a sign next to the coffe maker that says ‘Brew unto others as you would have them brew unto you’ and a note to please make more coffee if you empty the pot. Did it help? Yeah right, oh well… at least the coffee is free here! ---

Sigh. Yes, the coffeemaker is plumbed into the water system, no “hard” necessary (no " " necessary either). Yes, that’s really how you say it. No, don’t thank me, just explain it to the next misguided soul… ---

Hell I thought this only happened in restaurants. I work in one and I get pissed off when I go to get a guest a cup of coffee and the pot is empty. It’s the same thing. Just get a filter, open a pack of coffee and press the button it’s that simple. But noooo the lazy ass that took the last cup doesn’t think their guest may want a refill or that another person may need some. Go figure. In the office you may want to see about giving the coffee duty to a couple of different people everyday. At least then you know who to chew out when there isn’t any.😉 ---
