# Is it strange that I want to go to my friend's baby shower?

A problem with this is that she probably won’t have much, if anything, to do with the invite list. My friends through me a surprise baby shower and they worked out the guest list through my husband. If you really want to actually get invited to the baby shower, I would suggest speaking with her husband about it. Or, if people at work are organizing it, speak with the person who’s in charge.

Of course not…that’s how I got into this condition in the first place 😉

Oh believe me, these parties are not to be taken seriously. That’s why they got dubbed ‘dadchelor’ in the first place.

The motto “when we celebrate fatherhood by abandoning our pregnant wives and drinking.”  
They are as ridiculously stereotypically male as some showers are ridiculously stereotypically female.
