Left work early and voted in the basement of the UCC church across the street from us. Not too crowded. Our only wait was for the Board of Elections drone to find us in the big book. My wife and I got our ballots (optical scan), voted, and were out the door within ten minutes. Then my son, 16, and I did canvassing for Obama with another volunteer in a not-so-pleasant neighborhood of Cleveland for two hours until nightfall. It says something about how organized this campaign is, and how many volunteers it has, that we were going to houses that have already been visited _twice_ today (but the residents therein had not confirmed that they’ve voted). Most folks still weren’t home, but we got a couple of “Oh, yeah, I voted!” ---
