Is it true that the average American uses more energy than a blue whale?

If he’s using less energy?

Of course whales don’t use very much energy, duh, if they burned fat instead of storing it, they wouldn’t be such big fat fatties…(Don’t worry about me, folks, I never was going to swim in the ocean again, anyway.)
