I have to admit that I always get a little thrill when I see “Lekatt” on a thread. I know there’s a fun time just around the corner. Followed closely by a strong desire to hit myself in the head repeatedly with a hammer, of course, but nothing good comes without a cost. ---

Does anyone get to make weird assertions on any topic? Is there no burden of proof in Great Debates? If so… what’s to keep people with rather tin-foil hattish ideas who want to prolifically espouse their ideas? When is it ok to not have evidence? And not feel a need to provide any? Right now… it looks like thread-shitting. And as tolerant as I am with disagreement, I DO think we should be able to expect reasoned discourse. ---
