In general, my guess would be that it makes you the guy who’s funny enough that all the cool kids invite him along so they can laugh at him. So no, not cool. Demeaning, more. ---

It is demeaning; it is also vulgar and dangerous. The combination makes it highly masculine, which in some situations completely obviates being cool. ---

I knew a guy that would always light his farts. Desert Storm, Entertainment of any kind was welcome. Especially when you’ve been in the middle of nowhere in a tent with a bunch of other guys for months. This guy, i nicknamed him “Jackrabbit”, would get ready to fart, bend over and use his lighter to ignite the fart. It was impressive. Until the time he set his ass on fire. Well, it was still entertaining when he ran out of the tent with his ass flaming and jumped into the sand to put it out. Luckily he wasn’t seriously hurt. But he still lit his farts afterwards. What a daredevil. ---

Is lighting your fart on fire cool? Hmmm… Now how did that “God” thing get in there?
