# Is masturbating healthy for a person? What have scientific studies shown?

Well, I’ll be 80 in December. And as for mental health, on a scale of 0 to 10 I’ll bet I get at least a 2.

Someone asked what if you neither masturbate nor have sex. Men, at least, have wet dreams. I conclude that sexual release must be healthy since the body finds a way. What about women?
