Accurate description or not, once a user name has been attached to someone with a posting history – even when that user has moved on – it’s generally too confusing to everyone else if someone else assumes the mantle, so sorry, no. We’re willing to change your name if you desire something more descriptive; however, you’re well advised to give it some thought. Names have power. Of course, if you get stuck, the Dopers will help you, but be careful, that’s how someone got “Chicken of Bristol.” your humble TubaDiva ---

Why not an homage, like “Another Moody Bastard,” or “Moody Bastard Also” (abbreviation MBA), or “Moody Deux” – or be location-specific, like “Moody Bastard of Mississippi?” Or do like the west coast gangbangers – be Lil’ Moody Bastard and elevate the first to O.G. status. ---
