# Is my dog a Jedi Master? My wife and I just adopted a dog about 6 weeks ago. I am starting to suspect this is no ordinary dog. Before we went to the SPCA, we said we were only going to look, and make sure we found the perfect dog. About an hour later, we had signed the papers to adopt a puppy. Fast Forward! Tortilluh and I are sitting on the couch, watching TV together (she really likes TV for some reason). She has a toy that accidentally falls off the couch. I look at her, expecting her to go get it, but she just returns my stare. I look away, but still feel her eyes on me. Things are starting to get a little weird, some tension is building. I cave under the pressure of her mind, and retrieve her toy and give it back to her. Instant relief. Fast Forward! This morning, I wake up and let the dog out of her pen, then get her breakfast. I hear a loud crash, and go back out to see that she has knocked over the laundry hamper, and spread some of the clothes out. While I am busy picking them up, she manages to grab the remote off the end table and hide it somewhere again. After this, she jumps up and grabs the coupon for her dog food off the table and promptly eats it (is this irony?). I am left to pick up the mess. I think my dog might be a Jedi, using mind tricks on me. I fear she has already completely turned my wife. What can I do to stop her? ---

It’s hard to know if she’s a Master without seeing a picture. There’s something about the eyes of Jedi dogs. Sadie got my purse down from the kitchen counter last week. I’m pretty sure she ate a dollar. Good thing it wasn’t a twenty, or I’d be examining her poop. ---

Back to the OP… There is no question your dog is a jedi. But a Jedi MASTER he is not. Much to learn, this one. It is up to you, sir, to decide whether your dog shall use his powers for good or evil. ---

There are many sub-breeds within the major breeds that aren’t often known. My neighbor had a beautiful Labrador Retriever puppy that never seemed to calm down, even after it had grown. So he took it to the Vet, who quarantined it as an illegal breed. Turns out the dog was a Meth Lab. ---

ha ha **ghardester** 🙂 🙂 I thought my dog was a retriever but it turns out she’s a Jedi. She doesn’t retrieve toys - she watches them go and then thinks really hard and they come back to her (or maybe I’m always fetching them?) She also doesn’t bark to go outside - she just stares at the door and thinks really hard. The door eventually opens (or maybe it’s that someone eventually walks by and lets her out). Jedi breeds are hard to have around. The owners end up doing a heck of a lot more work. It’s almost as if they have us trained… 😃 ---
