Is my email address too uncool? Should I change?

I said:

I never said that an old yahoo email account wouldn’t work or that it wasn’t offered in the US in the past. I simply said that a yahoo email address is not officially offered in the U.S. at this time. Am I not being clear?

Ddidn’t domains (or their predecessors) use bangs (!, for the clueless) as separators well into the public internet era?

Oh yeah, the dark ages before DNS caught on. I’d forgotten about those horrors when trying to contact a friend at NASA. Today, they’re something short and sweet like cecil@nasa.gov but twenty years ago, the email systems were a bit dense and you had to tell them the specific server like cecil@server!department!facility!nasa.gov

Maybe I am misunderstanding but I just created yes_you_can_rsa@yahoo.com. The pw is SDMB2014. It’s all yours if you want it.

The only thing that sucks about yahoo mail is that they’re spam magnets. I ended up abandoning mine in favor of gmail.
