Is My Son Too Young to View the Eclipse?

Thank you, that means a lot. We can definitely plan a family trip when he’s 24, if he’s not too cool for us.

I’m so glad it worked out that well. As I mentioned, my kids were 4 when they saw the 2017 eclipse. They remember specific things, but not necessarily the whole experience of the eclipse. It’s a really cool thing that we shared. They still enjoy seeing the pictures we took. We were camping, and they also remember some really cool ranger talks from that trip – the most exciting parts of the trip at the time were probably not about the eclipse, but their perspective on it changes over time.
