# Is Narcissism treatable? How effectively?

Well, that’s an interesting development.

I just wanted to say that this diagnosing of mental illnesses on this board sometimes goes too far. If she is indeed highly sensitive, it’s quite possible that she does live a rich and fulfilling life, only more internally than most, and that she’s quite happy being at home, alone or with one other person, and that she does sometimes feel very uncomfortable being around other people, especially the intense. None of these things by themselves or even all together make her mentally ill or defective personality-wise- maybe just not right for you, especially if you don’t understand her or why she may feel the way she does.
