And the ones who dated me, who had no hope of getting the message across regards. Including the ones who pretty much said “lets fuck”

> I’m not up on how single women are these days, but it would surprise me quite a bit if today’s millennial chicks needed to tell themselves anything other than, “I’m hoping to get laid tonight.” Twenty years ago she might have needed to tell herself her motives were pure as the driven snow, but we now live in a culture where women will read _50 Shades of Grey_ on the subway to work.

I guess. But if that was the case, “Netflix and chill?” wouldn’t even be used. The last girl I was making out with, when I asked her “Well, what do you want to do?” said “Let’s go watch a movie at your place”, and she was 25.

Start [here](https://www.theodysseyonline.com/12-slang-words-phrases-you-should-know-2015). People are still saying “That’s lit, fam” and “Cash me ousside (how bow dah).”

Lit means cool, awesome, or impressive. Fam is/are your friends. Put together, it’s identical to “That’s awesome, bro.”

The second is a reference to a teenage, white woman on Doctor Phil challenging the audience to fight her in the parking lot.

I’ve heard people say that things are their spirit animal, but that’s fading out.

Seriously. I’m thinking we need to start an “Old people, I’m young. AMA.” and start by explaining what AMA means.

Yeah, and isn’t it weird how those lawyers and cops on Law & Order always have something interesting to say and they never seem to acknowledge that there’s a camera in the room with them? No idea why.

Nope, I hate them. My kids left the radio on when they left for school. I actively avoid these kinds of skits that take people’s real lives and turn them into cheap drama for ratings.

Reprehensible stuff.

Enjoy,

She already is famous and has a net worth of 1.2 million dollars.

If that doesn’t make you lose all hope for humanity, I don’t know what will.

I’m old af, but last night a friend asked me “why is the Air Force considered cold?”.

He had just read “it’s cold af” somewhere.

> It was a popular euphemism for sex three years ago. It still is, I guess, but it can also be used ironically. Or even played straight. Probably a lot like “want to come up for coffee?”. Sometimes it’s really coffee. Sometimes it’s sex. Sometimes it’s a joke, like on Seinfeld. “No, thanks, I can’t drink coffee late at night. It keeps me up.”

This remind of a movie line I once heard (I think it was a movie and I can’t remember which one)

Her: Want come up for some coffee?
Him: I don’t like coffee
Her: It’s OK, I don’t have any

But if you’re invited to “Netflix and chill” by, say, the President of Burundi…

Oh you’re still in the game, you just don’t realize it or what your position is. I’m 50 and have a house stuffed with teenagers. My advice to anyone approaching my situation is: stock up on valium and prepare for a 15 year cultural fast-forward. They start making you a little uneasy by age 13-14, but by 16-17 there is little doubt your children have been abducted and replaced by lecherous gluttons. Just stay out of the way, try not to let you jaw hang open, and pay attention. Even the barely euphemistic “Netflix & Chill” is already passe’. Now I’m pretty sure it’s just, “your parents’ place or mine?”

These things are never as universal as the internet likes to imagine. I’ve heard at least two women under the age of thirty in the last six months use “Netflix and chill” to refer to watching a movie at home alone. I assure you, neither was inviting me to join them.

I think “Netflix and chill” might suggest sex but not every time. Contrast, “I was ready to Netflix and chill with a pint of ice cream until my dog ate a sock and threw up on the floor,” with “Sorry I can’t go out on Saturday. My boyfriend is in from out of town and we’re just gonna Netflix and chill.”

This has me wondering if there is legal potential here for a defense in some kind of criminal case.

“Your Honor, the plaintiff invited me to sex. The sex was consensual. She said, ‘Want to come by for Netflix and Chill?’ In societal lingo that is an invitation to sex.”

Defendant: “I did not mean sex, I just wanted him to watch a movie with me!”
