When I went to guy school, back in the early days, back in Texas, my instructors always maintained that “eatin’ ain’t cheatin’.” And if oral sex is **not** sex, it will certainly do until sex is available. ---

When compiling my “List” as all men do, I’ve always counted the handjobs I’ve gotten from women along the way too. Jaysus…getting a woman to voluntarily stimulate me to orgasm is too momentous an occasion not to call it sex. Which begs the question: Is it oral sex (fellatio or cunnilingus) if there is no orgasm? Is this what high school health class called 'heavy petting? ---

I fellated my first boyfriend several times before we ever actually engaged in coitus (could I be more technical?), but I date the loss of my virginity from the first instance of coitus, as does he. However…I can’t imagine having taken someone’s penis or clitoris in my mouth, for the purpose of giving pleasure, and then honestly say I haven’t had sex. I think the loss of virginity for a woman would be measured by most as the moment when she was first actually penetrated. If someone is a life-long lesbian and is not fond of penetration, I’d imagine she would date the loss of her virginity differently, as would a gay man who is not interested in anal sex. The only reason I can think of for wondering whether or not oral sex “counted” is when accused by a partner of cheating. In that context, if you try to get away with, “I didn’t fuck her, honey, she just sucked me off” you deserve whatever beating you get. ---

I was with a lot of guys before Mr. Rilch, but he’s the only one I’ve ever gone down on. So for me to do that for any other guy would be the worst betrayal. In fact, I think a woman who goes down on a guy, unless he’s threatening her life if she doesn’t do so, is much more clearly betraying her SO. A woman can be passive during genital sex, and claim to her SO that she was pretending the other guy was him, but if she’s giving someone head, she’s doing all the work, so she must be doing it from choice. ---

Also, I would caracterize oral sex as sex. I know some gay guys who have never had anal sex. They’ve definetly had sex, just no anal penetration. Im a vaginatarian. I consider that sex. Alessan, legally, virginity is the penis/vagina thing. Not an oral thing. But sometimes people like to play at it. e.g. ‘you’re no longer an anal virgin anymore’ In that case, a verb? originally, a noun. ---

I was reading to my then husband to be out of his marriage and family book to help him study. I read out the top ten myths about sex. When I got to “Oral sex is a perversion.” he exploded. THAT IS NOT A MYTH!! Oral sex is the vilest of pervsions!" and he continued on for some time. When he finally ran out of steam i asked, “What do you think we have been doing for the last month? What do you think oral sex is?” He had no clue. ---

Lets analyze, the words oral and sex. Oral- pertaining to the mouth… correct? I think we can all agree on that. Sex- intercourse… I’m fairly confident that is correct. Put them together… mouth intercourse. Sex with the mouth. Key word there… SEX. If sex is one of the words in a fornicatory act, I would put my money on it being sex.
