I’m more concerned about how you have me confused with anemone. I don’t look anything like her.
Don’t oats lower colesterol ?
Yep, savory! That sounds yummy!
Even it’s was made two days ago. Or even a week before that?.
Though only when made with legumes vs. grain, of course. And of course it may be enjoyed regardless of the temperature.
Can someone pls. translate for me: is “maize porridge” akin to what Southerners (U.S. of A.) call “grits?”
Oatmeal and Cream of Wheat are delicious - I usually make a nice breakfast on the weekends (pancakes, or waffles or bacon and eggs) and one of the options in rotation is home made oatmeal with fresh fruit - everyone (including Junior) really enjoy it.
I imagine a yellow cornmeal porridge my Puerto Rican grandmother used to make. It was very thick and had whole cinnamon sticks in it.
I guess if we’re going to be extra nitpicky about it, oatmeal would be milled oats, so the while porridge made from rolled oats or steel cut oats would be “oat porridge,” only porridge made from oat flour or some other form of ground oats could precisely be described as “oatmeal porridge.”
