# Is Santa part of the Christian Faith?

Pure hyperbole on part of the Chinese. The PRC has always had a hard time getting along with other communist groups. For example, they fought a border war with the Soviets in the 1960’s; in the late 1970’s they attempted to invade Vietnam. Santa is in direct competition with the capitalist toy mongers, using his elf-filled gulags to produce toys, which he give away to children to reenforce their acceptance of his survelliance systems, and to reduce the profitablity of the the capitalist toy makers.
