Just heard a gossip report that Joe Pesci and Angie Everhart are engaged and that Joe Jackson song started playing in my head. I thought of Julia Roberts and Lyle Lovett, Dan Ackroyd and Donna Dixon. Couldn’t think too many famous hot guys seeing average looking girls, though. Loretta Lynn and Mooney were all I could think of. ---

Joe Pesci? My Cousin Vinny? Not only is he short, bald, and funny looking but from what I’ve heard, he’s surly and obnoxious as well. Plus his career’s dead and he’s twenty six years older than Everhart. What exactly is she looking for in this marriage? Somebody who’ll help her get over Howard Stern? ---

[/QUOTE] When I saw Transformers, I was distracted by the fact that the guy who played the army captain, [Josh Duhamel](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0241049/), has been dating [Fergie](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004914/) for a few years now. He’s actually older than her but he looks like he could be in his late 20s while she looks like she’s been forced to live every day twice. Glamorous is kind of a catchy song, though, I guess. ---

For that matter, how did Lennon and McCartney, the most sought-after men of their generation, wind up with Yoko Ono and Linda Eastman? Shit just happens, man… ---

Re. younger men-older women, Hugh Jackman’s wife, actress Deborra-Lee Furness, is eight years older than he – and although she’s very attractive, it’s probably fair to say that she isn’t (and, humanly, couldn’t possibly be) as much of a knockout as a woman as he is as a man.
