# Is split tail still used informally?

I think its been updated now to “split-ass” or just “splitty” or 'splitties" if referring to the female collective.

I like it better when split tail is in reference to a Bonanza.

And ‘just a cunt hair’ has never been better than when truck driver turned bawdy comedian Gene Tracy used it in a story. Everything else pales.
