Or is there a danger of it disappearing? i.e., is there enough revenue coming from somewhere in order to cover costs?

I for one think that the EPA-mandated troll habitat is an unfair drain on the development potential of the SDMB. All those stone bridges could be rezoned into a new forum, instead of providing a home for the nasty creatures. Besides, it’s not like they’re endangered or anything!
