# Is Tapatalk dead?

Android phone.

I can read and browe SDMB using Tapatalk. I cannot, however, POST or Reply. It shows me as logged in.

I’m told in don’t have Permission to reply.

Is Tapatalk flaky or am I doing something wrong?

Try logging out, then back in. When Tapatalk starts acting weird on my S7 that usually works.

Sometimes you have to clear the app cache as well.

Now that we have the new mobile-friendly theme I uninstalled Tapatalk from my Android and just use a Chrome shortcut to go directly to [http://boards.straightdope.com/](http://boards.straightdope.com/)

As a logged-in member there’s no ads, no stupidity, and no funky US to learn. It just works.

Try it; you might like it.
