Yep, that’s Sally Field. Whenever I see that commercial, I roll my eyes when she says that her health is “an important part of who I am.” Yer darn tootin’ it is, hon. Without some degree of health, you’d be dead. Somehow this reminds me of the famous Brooke Shields quote, “If you’re killed, you’ve lost a very important part of your life.” ---

It’s a commercial promoting _preventive_ measures to avoid health issues for us mature folks. Shows her exercising. It’s a fact that deserves being stressed. You don’t bounce back as quickly as you get older and it’s smart to take care of yourself in a preventive medicine way. There’s nothing stupid about her comment although we can’t say the same for yours. ---

The only thing that makes Boniva (and Fosamax) different is the regimen – take it as soon as you get up, and you can’t eat or drink or lie down for 30 minutes after. Not a big deal at all, for something you only do once a week. ---
