I think the Pit ought to be taken at least a bit in the spirit of “[playing the dozens](https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiynt2aptvdAhUC84MKHcC4DJIQFjAAegQIBhAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FThe_Dozens&usg=AOvVaw32ZKwJIDUeUg6yNLn46gIs)”. It’s more fun when it is over-the-top and creative. Just saying “fuck you” or calling someone a troll is boring. Saying “you are such a massive ass that Thanos had to snap his fingers twice to get rid of you” is more in the spirit of things. Regards, Shodan PS - I stole it off YouTube. ---

If you pit someone unjustly and without facts to back it up, it can backfire, and you can end up getting, for lack of a better term, “reverse pitted”. YOU end up the object of derision instead of the person you originally pitted. ---
