I swear I posted twice in separate threads, saw my posts, then came back later and they were gone.

Anyone else having posts disappear?

Just me?

OK, I see how it is…

It’s just you. You’re on “the list”.

😛

(just kidding, of course)

Actually, as long as the post goes through, it should still be there. I’m not aware of any posts actually disappearing once they post.

Getting it to post can be an issue though, and we have had increasing problems with that over the past few months. Timeouts and server burps are common.

We do have an automatic filter that eats spam. None of your posts are in the spam filter. As far as I can tell, all of your posts should be visible.

It’s also possible that you have a caching problem on your end. You might try clearing your browser’s cache.

Well, I noticed that my last post was in that thread accusing the “elites” of using cloned human slaves.

But it appears that that thread disappeared. Not locked, just disappeared.

Is that normal?

It’s normal for new trolls to have their “work” deleted.

We disappear threads (and posts) on occasion. Usually it’s a spammer, sock, or troll. If you want to know the reason in any specific case, feel free to PM a moderator. We prefer not to discuss those in public.

I swear it happened to me today. Though later I thought maybe I never submitted it. But maybe I did after all. I don’t remember it happening to me before, today was the first time.

No error or anything, I just went back in the thread and my post wasn’t there, and there were two new posts from other people.

I believe that when you delete a sock’s posts you also sometimes have to delete posts that reply to them. I’m guessing that’s what happened to the OP’s missing posts.
