Not worst miscast, but _Out To Sea_ (1997) with Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon. The script was obviously written for an older person who is teaching a younger person the ropes. Instead we got one of the greatest comedy teams working against the script. ---

And at some point as an adult I heard of Marni Nixon as the singer behind some classic movie musicals. It was only about ten years ago I found out they were one and the same. I wonder if there’s a story in how she went from backing Audrey Hepburn to local kids’ TV. ---
