Is the Death Penalty really worse than Life Without Parole?

I did not realize that. I assumed that it would be rather difficult to commit suicide in a high security incarceration setting. I mean, if one wished to commit suicide one would probably prefer to do so without undue pain and at the same time without high risk of being interrupted and resuscitated. Is it actually that easy to get the supplies you’d need? Am I lacking in imagination here?

Find some jailer friends, or, better yet, some *retired *jailer friends, and ask them.

It depends on the jail and the felons restrictions. Some prisons arent so bad if nobody is trying to kill or assault you. Sometimes elderly lifers have their own special prison.

Other lifers like the real dangerous ones can get it pretty hard. One guard told me about where they live in a small box with only a bed and a toilet and their food is thru this robot thing that puts a tray thru a slot.

I think they’re in a better position to make that decision than most of us.

Here in California Death Row inmate live pretty well (for prison life). They have their own cells and will most likely never be executed. They even get to live on some of the most valuable real estate in the world and get a million dollar view of SF Bay.
