I haven’t been able to see the IMDB in nearly a week. Are they offline? I’m based in Korea, if that makes a difference. ---

Huh, I’m guessing the servers are in the states, as it’s working from Japan for me, and clearly in other countries as well. Odd. ---

Working for me too. I just found out that _Casino_ had the F bomb 422 times. A record at the time. (Or was that wiki that told me?) ---

Those two “down” sites only check if the web site is accessible from a single location, and only check a single one of its servers. That’s fine in simple cases, but doesn’t work so well for very large sites. This one is powered by Watchmouse, which monitors web sites from multiple locations: [http://www.downornot.com/imdb](http://www.downornot.com/imdb) If you click through to “how do we know?” you’ll see additional info. Currently it’s showing problems from some locations in Asia and Eastern Europe, while the rest of the world seems fine. ---
