At least we no longer have to hear the phrase “lion(s) of the Senate”.
Thank God there’s no family like this among Republicans.
It isn’t a fair tactic say that someone has to become a an infallible saint before they are allowed to notice the sins of others. No one would ever be able to criticize anyone if that was the case. The Kennedy’s were an especially bad example of inherited corruption and power. Both parties have some examples that are wrong in that regard. What is promising is that Ted Kennedy’s replacement, Scott Brown, does have great character and Massachusetts took note of that in electing him in a mini-revolution.
