Do like I do at work. They take away Lotus SmartSuite and change to Microsoft Office…I pretend it has always been like this. Saves aggravation. And truly, having someone decide that they don’t want to pay the SAS licence fee anymore when you have several hundred SAS programs in your library is way harder to deal with. I have already convinced myself the SDMB always worked like this (apart from the database going missing). It’s not bad. I’ve worked out how to make it work better for me like this. ---

In the options it looks like you can disable signatures, period (meaning you won’t see any signature), but I don’t think there is a setting which will allows users to not show their signatures by default. ---
