# Is the photo of the Reichstag flag more famous than the Iwo Jima flag?

I knew as I was posting that this would turn into a circle jerk about whether the Reichstag photo was in the “top 3” or “top 7 and half” pictures from WWII.

Now I see a separate thread was made about it. Way to see the forest for the trees, guys.

**Cal** , I don’t particularly need an explanation for why you don’t recognize something. TL;DR but I’m sure you made a great case.
