# Is the Pope Catholic? Jerome Corsi questions this Pope's Catholicism

[Pope Francis](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_francis), as an Archbishop in Argentina, made a lot of remarkable efforts to be Christian in the sense of being really nice to everybody – in particular, he cultivated friendships with non-Catholics – Jews, Protestants, Muslims, everybody. And since his election to the papacy, he appears to have cranked that to 11. Even **gays** and **atheists** might get into Heaven, pending God’s judgment, but the Pope (that is to say, the Bishop of Rome, who doesn’t even like the “Pope” title) won’t presume to judge. He might have been trained as a casuitical Jesuit, but he papally-named himself after the drunk-on-universal-love founder of the Franciscan Order ([St. Francis of Assissi](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Francis_of_Assisi), the rather dotty saint who preached sermons to birds, and even revered as spiritual siblings such inanimate objects such as “Brother Sun” and “Sister Moon”). Pope Frank is too busy making phone calls to spiritually troubled Catholics to worry much about condemning anyone’s sins.
That apparently makes him suspect to [Jerome Corsi](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerome_Corsi) (slimy greasy name-ending-in-a-vowel Dago-Wop-Guinea-Eyetie, ya know what **they’re** like, even the priests carry at least one knife, including most of the God-cursed Bishops of Rome and Whores of Babylon before JPII the stupid crude filthy Polack; but at least he wasn’t a motherfucking **Mick** like Bill O’Donohue). This Corsi is also (in)famous for [Obama-bashing](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Obama_Nation). But I don’t think he’s a [Sedevacantist](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sedevacantism). Openly. Yet.

Knowing Corsi I think he can believe that he could sneak the new anti-pope in the Vatican and make him touch the Pope in order to annihilate him. 😛 \<==== smilie directed at Corsi.

Technically only one in three Popes is Catholic. There’s also [this guy](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_of_the_Coptic_Orthodox_Church_of_Alexandria) and [this guy](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patriarch_Theodore_II_of_Alexandria).
And all three of them should get together to kick Corsi in the nuts.

Corsi believes that oil is generated by the Earth itself, as opposed to being the remains of biological material.
His opinions on the Pope’s Catholicity may safely be discarded.

I like that the holier-than-thou Corsi is on his second wife. (Mel Gibson was another Catholic for whom the Pope wasn’t Catholic enough, and then he divorced his wife and shacked up with his girlfriend.)

As any reader of the SDMB threads on Pope Frankie could tell you, the man has been mostly saying the same things that have been and remain the Church positions, just not in as much of an obnoxious censorial manner as has been done by others.

Well, if he keeps providing opinions, just random chance will have him eventually issue one that is is supported by reality. He just needs to keep trying.

Oh, I dunno. I think the number of non-real things he could base an opinion one are vastly greater than the more limited number of real things. Perhaps unreality is even infinite. Either way, I think it’s possible that in the limited time he has to voice opinions, he could very well only draw from the larger set.
Statistically.
