In [this article](http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a971107.html), Cecil describes the life sentences of Rollen Stewart, the “Rainbow Man” who held up “John 3:16” signs at nationally televised sporting events to call attention to the Christian message.

I hadn’t seen any of these for a long time–and then a pretty large (for one fan, at least) “Trust Jesus” sign popped up during a field goal attempt (or maybe it was a PAT attempt, don’t quite remember) during a San Diego Chargers drubbing of the Raiders in Oakland. Is the Rainbow Man back? Does he have a disciple doing his deeds for him? Or maybe a copycat?
