Not on land, or so he says. The recurring joke with the Sea Captain and his crew is that at sea, anything goes. ---

I don’t know about him, but apparently, the longer his crew stays out at sea, the more they long for each other. “Thanks for deliverin’ these copies of _Juggs_. They’ll keep me men from resorting to homosexuality…for about ten minutes.” But then again, how often does he go out to sea? Remember the “all-you-can-eat” case… “Captain McCallister, is it true that you’re not a real captain?” (ashamedly) “Arr…” ---

If you ask me, he’s got a torrid affair with squidy. Sure, he wanted to kill him when he thought there was gold in his belly, but then they became friends. Maybe _good_ friends? ---

He’s whatever makes a good joke, like most of the characters. He’s not written as consistently gay. ---

In the “Be Like the Boy” episode, he takes a picture of Patty and Selma walking around naked and mentions it will serve him well on his long voyages. But given that it’s Patty and Selma, that doesn’t really prove anything one way or another. ---
