Is there a thread that lists banned members and the offenses that resulted them being banned? ---

Not one accessible to us. But deep under the Chicago Reader building, is the special vault containing the Tome of Misdeeds. Contained within in voluminous leafs and written in the blood of Easter Kids (goats that is) are the tallies of all of our misdeeds. Jim ---

If anyone notable gets banned, they will post a thread about them in ATMB explaining why. For minor, irrelevant characters, they don’t bother. If you are curious about someone, you can do a search. ---

If you are curious about someone, you can do a search. The ATMB notices are a fairly recent innovation. used to be, we just had to follow threads or see a Pit thread from a member asking about it. Would be pretty hard to compile a full list, considering the length of time back to some bannings, the different versions of board software, and the many socks that have been used by some banned names. ---

There is no thread providing a list of banned posters. There are various records that allow the staff to elicit information about banned posters (provided they were not banned so long ago that various software changes or system failures have made such records more trouble to touch than they are worth), but there is no single list of “The Banned.” And, as **Rysto** has pointed out, we have no desire to give such jerks that much publicity. ---
