Is there a free speech right to sell tarot card readings?

Yes, I saw that episode, Randi said something like why don’t you try for the million, and she said, sure, if you would allow it to be public, Randi said it is public. and nothing was set in stone. Randi is the trickester, spent a lot of his life fooling people. I don’t think anyone at that show thought the exchange was serious, and i dont think it was either.

About the audience laughing at Randi, he said you could take the same reading and give it to ten different people with the same result, everyone laughed.

On the Opra show he set in the front of the audience and make remarks about the psychics, the audience booed him so much that Opra had to tell them to stop.

If Randi is your skeptical hero, I feel sorry for you.

Love

I guess you don’t know that psychics have been asking for independent person for years and Randi has never agreed.

This independent person would be a researcher unknown to both parties. A psychic from England called Randi out on the subject and he refused time after time.

People- don’t bother with lekatt. He’s not worth the oxygen, or the phlogiston.

You’re not referring to a “funny = ha-ha” sort of funny, are you?

rjung, no, although he often is “ha ha” funny, albeit utterly unintentionally. Like when he cites Zammit (dammit!) as a reputable source for information. That always makes me laugh. It’s sort of like citing Mother Goose for parenting techniques or physics.

So you lied about knowing that she had accepted the challenge, the details of the challenge, and that he offered independent oversight

My heroes don’t put “for entertainment purposes only” under their words, they dont need to.
