# Is there a good way to keep a door ajar?

Looks good in theory. I bought one to keep my dog from eating the cat litter (ew) but the actual installation hasn’t worked its way up the to-do list.

Bumped to say we finally installed it today and it works a treat. Enough room for the cat to get into the laundry room, easy for us to get in and out but not the dog. Aesthetically it looks better than the baby gate because it never fit the doorway properly.

We have somethinge called the ‘door book’. It’s a real big accounting text book. Works great.
