Right-wing commentator (to put it kindly) David Horowitz has a website called “Discover the Network” – [http://www.discoverthenetwork.com/](http://www.discoverthenetwork.com/) – which purports to track the lines of funding and support between various liberal and leftist activists and organizations. Intended, obviously, as a reconnaisance report for right-wing activists (although it also could serve as an educational resource for a newbie progressive who doesn’t know all the players yet).

Makes me wonder – has any liberal activist put up an analogous site, tracking the lines of funding between various right-wing organizations, think tanks, etc.?

What I think you’re looking for is [SourceWatch](http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=SourceWatch), a project of the [Center for Media and Democracy](http://www.prwatch.org/).

They investigate Democrats as well, though, so they’re not exactly a “left-wing equivalent” of “Discover the Network”, which AFAIK is devoted exclusively to tracking lefties.

**Kimstu** beat me to it. The Center for Media and Democracy does some really great stuff.
