Seriously. [LINK](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=502374&page=2) So far, **CalD** has shown an unwillingness to read any of the cites posters have provided, and basically strung out a 300 post monstrosity by rebutting with “nuh-uh!” over and over again. When he/she doesn’t do that, they respond with gibberish, “My post is my Cite” bullshit. I Know that GD is the place for witnessing and religiously loaded debates, but there doesn’t seem to be any debate going on at all. Can I get a copy of the atheist agenda? I’m still waiting for my copy of the gay agenda. I need an agenda, I can’t cope without one; I don’t know what is expected of me. For all I know, I may be gay; without an agenda, how can I tell if I am or not? ---

I never like to throw such accusations around, what with ‘don’t attribute to malice what can equally well be explained by stupidity’ and all, but if that thread’s not blatant trolling – at least by now, even if it didn’t start out as such – then I don’t know what is. I simply don’t want to believe anybody could be that dense. ---

The thread started out in IMHO. Maybe the problem is that the rest of you are too smart. Try approaching **CalD** ’s argument as if it were a thread about cat pictures or something. ---

He’s holding a contrary and argumentative position, but I don’t believe he’s trolling. A person _can_ completely and utterly reject the scientific method (HE REJECTED THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HIM) without being a troll. The thread continues because for some reason people still want to argue with somebody who isn’t actually reading their posts except to watch for keywords so he can make bizarre “gotcha!” comments. If everybody just refused to engage him, he could go back to bitching about those slutty women who have sex before marriage. And I really wish his name didn’t make me do a double-take and think people were talking about me every time I saw it out of the corner of my eye. ☹ ---
