To put it another way: Is there a way of automating a particular commonly performed sequence of actions?

The actions I want to perform are…
Open media player
double click ‘songs’ (this adds all songs to the current playlist and begins to play them)
click the ‘edit list’ button.
click the ‘now playing’ dropdown
click ‘shuffle list now’.
move the scrollbar up to the top
double-click the top song on the list
I think you can understand from the number of items on that list, and when I tell you that the application has a time delay between some of those items, why I would like to automate the process.

Check out [AutoHotKey](http://www.autohotkey.com/), I’m pretty sure it’ll do what you need.
